TESTIMONIALS
“We learned of the Berglund team through friends in Eagle county and were impressed by the unique design and style demonstrated on the website. After meeting with Hans and Stephanie, we immediately felt comfortable that we had found our architect. Hans and Stephanie listened to our goals for the house, provided input and guidance as needed, and were quick to respond when asked. Sitting at the Charrette table we were able to visualize revisions in real time so modifications to the plan were timely and precise. The Berglund team worked closely with our builder to produce a final product that we remain proud of five years later.”

“As a builder, I’ve worked with a lot of architects over the years, so when it came time to design my own home, choosing Berglund Architects was a very intentional decision. I knew I wanted a team that was organized, thorough, and willing to work through the details on the front end.
One of the things Berglund does really well is coordinating the structural, mechanical, and other consultants early in the process. That makes a big difference from a builder’s perspective. When the drawings are well thought out before construction starts, we have better information to price from. That leads to more accurate bids, fewer unknowns, less contingency built in, fewer change orders, and a more predictable schedule.
I’ve also been impressed with the way Berglund develops and tracks interior pricing. They understand that great design and budget have to move together. That gives the client and builder a much clearer picture of where costs are headed throughout the process, which ultimately makes for a better experience and a better project.”

"Having known Hans for 20 plus years while running a design-build company in the area, I have admired Berglund Architect’s work and was excited by the opportunity to be the builder for one of his companies homes and constructing the unique design elements such as the curved entry and great room roofs and significant exposed steel structure. Their extensive 3D computer modeling and details made the construction process go smoothly despite the home's complexity. We really enjoyed the challenges of successfully building the artful fireplaces throughout the house and the high level of finish in all of the bathrooms"

“We were fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated team design our home. From the beginning, they were attentive to our needs, ideas, and desires, taking the time to truly understand what we wanted. They remained actively involved throughout the entire project, helping ensure that things stayed on track while also working through the inevitable challenges and adjustments that arose along the way.
Beyond their talent and professionalism, the entire team was a joy to work with. They were responsive, thoughtful, collaborative, and genuinely committed to making the process as enjoyable as possible.
The end result is the home we always dreamed of—a home that was thoughtfully designed specifically for us and reflects exactly how we wanted to live. We couldn’t be happier with the result or more appreciative of the team that brought our vision to life.”

“One of the things that stands out about Berglund Architects is how much work they put into understanding and resolving a project early in the design process. I’ve participated in several of their Charrettes, and it is impressive to watch how closely they collaborate with the client, explore ideas in real time and begin making important decisions about the site, design, program and budget right from the start.
That same level of organization and attention to detail continues as the project develops. From a builder’s perspective, better coordinated and more complete information allows us to provide more accurate pricing with less contingency built into our numbers. It also means fewer unknowns during construction, fewer change orders and a more predictable schedule. Berglund understands that a successful project is not just about the design itself, but about creating a clear, well-coordinated path to getting it built.”
