Remembering Our Colleague and Friend
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our colleague and friend, Adam Gilmer, who tragically died in a bike accident in June 2025. Adam was a vital part of Berglund Architects, contributing creativity, dedication, and insight to every project he touched. He deeply valued connection with everyone he interacted with and always strove to strengthen relationships—with colleagues, clients, and collaborators alike.
A Passion for Design
Adam’s architectural vision was defined by his ability to balance artistry with precision. Whether designing mountain modern residences or contributing to community projects, he approached each challenge with curiosity, care, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
A Colleague Who Inspired
Beyond his professional achievements, Adam’s generosity of spirit left a lasting impression on our team. He was a natural mentor, always eager to share his knowledge, guide younger designers, and celebrate both large and small milestones. His humor and positive energy enriched our studio, reminding us that architecture is as much about people and relationships as it is about buildings.
A Lasting Legacy
Adam’s work and influence will continue to shape Berglund Architects for years to come. The projects he helped bring to life stand as a testament to his skill, creativity, and collaborative spirit. His presence will be deeply missed, but his impact will remain woven into the fabric of our practice and the communities we serve.
